Hogan's Blog: Thursday Morning Commute

Happy Thursday! There's water on the roadways again this morning in your commute. Slippery conditions out there so expect to lower speeds. We will keep you updated below. Plus it's a big morning for our traffic department, we'll be making a special announcement live on TV just after 6:45am. Can't wait to share this with you.

Here are the things that may have slowed you down Thursday morning:

Tacoma: An auto vs. pedestrian accident on East 25th and Portland. Aid responding. TIME: 6:52am

Tukwila: I-405 Southbound Clark just found an accident, it's blocking the left main lane, traffic is quickly backing up. TIME: 6:40am Tukwila UPDATE: I- 405 southbound the accident Chopper 7 is over right now is just north of SR 181 via WSDOT. TIME: 6:42am

I-5 southbound express lanes at Stewart St collision blocking right lane via WSDOT. TIME: 6:27am

Downtown Seattle: I-5 south as you get off onto the collector distributor lanes to I-90, both lanes blocked by a multiple vehicle accident. TIME: 5:32am

Pierce County: Orville Road-Power lines are down 6 miles south of Orting. TIME: 5:22am

I-90 Eastbound watch out for a mattress in the road through the Mt Baker tunnel. TIME: 5:20am

The WSDOT says collision blocks the center and two right lanes of northbound I-5 at Port of Tacoma Road. TIME: 2:15am

Overnight construction: I-5 southbound by UW exit at 45th and 50th, I-405 in Renton. I-5 through North Seattle. All should be wrapped up by 5am.
