Shooting Kills One On First Hill

SEATTLE -- Gunfire erupted near St. James Cathedral on Seattle's First Hill Saturday night. One man was killed, and police were looking for the suspect.

A man was shot in the chest shortly before 9:30 p.m, and was killed.

A neighbor told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Chris Legeros that he heard two shots.

Seattle Police homicide detectives were on the scene interviewing possible witnesses. Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel said there were no information on a possible suspect.
