TACOMA, Wash. -- Detectives said a drive-by shooting in Tacoma in which a woman was killed and a man was wounded may have been caused by road rage, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.Police said shots were fired at 56th Street and Portland Avenue shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday.Detectives said 21-year-old Camille Love was driving with her brother, Josh Love, to go visit a friend when the two noticed someone in a white Chrysler Minivan was following them. After about a mile, the driver of the minivan drove up next to their car and started shooting, police said.Love died in the driver's seat and her brother was shot in the arm. Their aunt, Helene Bell, said the two had a close relationship. The minivan, which police said had been stolen in Auburn, was found still running a few blocks away. The gunman has not been found. “Whoever it was in a white van chased them and they tried to pull into a 7-11 and waited and then when they thought it was OK they came out onto the street and he followed them and opened fire,” said the victims’ grandfather Paul Sjunnesen.Police said the only motive for the shooting is the possibility the shooter didn't like Love's driving and was angry that she might have stopped too abruptly at a stop light. For nine hours, investigators collected bullet casings, took pictures and marked evidence at the crime scene, which encompassed about four blocks of Portland Avenue. Josh Love, 20, was shot in the arm and taken to Tacoma General Hospital. He is recovering from surgery.WATCH IT: Teacher Says Victim Was 'Very Sweet, Wonderful Kid'Bell said Camille was supposed to start college Monday and made a plea to the person responsible for the shootings."They should turn themselves in, because they took an innocent life and a child from someone," said Bell. "It was just a senseless act."Bell said from what her nephew told her, there was no confrontation prior to the shooting.
