TACOMA, Wash. -- Pierce County sheriff's detectives say they have arrested a man wanted in a series of bank heists committed by a robber known as the "scarecrow bandit."Daniel Pezary Wlodarzewski, 32, was arrested late Tuesday morning after allegedly holding up a Key Bank in University Place. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail on suspicion of 10 counts of first-degree armed robbery.Detective Ed Troyer says Wlodarzewski is the so-called "scarecrow" bank robber, who wears a sack over his head during bank hold-ups to hide his identity. Troyer said Wlodarzewski also robbed several banks last year wearing a hockey mask.In more than one case, Wlodarzewski is suspected of repeat robberies of certain banks, hitting them twice, wearing the same disguise. He is suspected of robbing the Key Bank -- where he was arrested Tuesday -- earlier this year on Feb. 12.Wlodarzewski is expected to appear in court in Tacoma on Wednesday.
A Sylvester Stallone action fest, a new Drew Barrymore romantic comedy, a romantic drama starring Julia Roberts and a buddy comedy starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg are among the new movies out in August.
