Metro Testing Plastic Barriers To Protect Drivers

Metro Transit plans to install Plexiglass barriers in some of its buses to help protect drivers.

The move follows a January attack on a driver who police said was beaten unconscious by a teenager who was upset the driver wouldn't let him exit through the rear door.

SeattlePI.com reports the security partitions will be installed in a small number of buses as a test.
