3 Children, 2 Adults Hurt In Rollover Crash North Of Poulsbo

POULSBO, Wash. -- Five people were injured, three children and two adults, in a one-car rollover crash that closed both directions of state Route 3 north of Poulsbo, the state patrol said.Police said the children were ejected from the van in the crash.Two of the children were airlifted to Harborview Medical Center as a precaution, the state patrol said. The other child and two parents were taken to Harrison Hospital in Bremerton. All are expected to recover. The top of the van was sheared off in the crash.Two children were sitting on a bench-type seat, which came unbolted, and was ejected from the van along with the two children, police said. Another child appears to have been seated in the front between both parents.It was not known if the occupants were wearing seatbelts.Video from Chopper 7 showed a van on its side and a large debris field around the vehicle. Much of the debris appeared to be clothing and household items.
