Near EVERSON, Wash. -- Fire crews worked to douse flames after a fire erupted in a hay barn south of Everson Thursday morning.Crews had to remove the hay from the Whatcom County building to stop the fire from progressing.Video showed a tractor scooping piles of sodden hay as firefighters continued to soak the building.KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Jeff Dubois said the owner of the barn told him no animals were hurt.Investigators will work to determine the cause of the blaze.
