Two Stryker Brigade Soldiers Killed In Iraq

FORT LEWIS -- Two soldiers with the Fort Lewis Stryker
Brigade have been killed in Iraq. The U-S command says one soldier
was killed in a mortar attack on a coalition base in the northern
city of Mosul.
Another soldier was killed in an electrical accident
Saturday. That was also in the Mosul area. No names have been
released. The Stryker Brigade is part of the Second Infantry
Division, based at Fort Lewis.
The latest death brings to 765 the
number of U.S. service members who have died since the beginning of
military operations in Iraq last year. Of those, 557 died as a
result of hostile action and 208 died of non-hostile causes.
