Sheila Roe fought back tears as she remembered the first moments she saw her son lying in the middle of Roosevelt Avenue after being attacked by a neighbor's dog."He was scared to death, bawling, crying -- scared to death," she said.The dog left red marks all over the boy's body. Anthony said he was walking home when the pit bull charged."He was running at me and I tried yelling at him to stop and then I started running and then he jumped at my leg and bit me and I fell down and then he bit me in the back," Anthony Grosso said.The dog dragged him and bit him three times. Eyewitnesses said it was only when a Pierce Transit bus driver honked his horn that the dog let go."The law should be changed. If a dog bites a child or anyone, they shouldn't have a chance to bite somebody else again, ever," Roe said.Anthony was treated at Mary Bridge Hospital.The pit bull's owner declined an interview with KIRO 7 Eyewitness News, but neighbors said he agreed to quarantine the dog in Puyallup for 10 days.
