1 Dead, 1 Hurt In Federal Way Shooting

One man was killed and another man injured in a shooting at a Federal Way apartment early Monday morning, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Police chased another man seen fleeing from the apartment complex and arrested him after his sport utility vehicle flipped over.

The shooting happened at about 4:30 a.m. in the 33300 block of 17 Lane, police said.

The victim who died was shot in the head. The other victim with life-threatening injuries was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

All three men were in their mid 20s, police said.

Police were waiting for crime scene investigators to arrive at the apartment to gather evidence in the case.

There was no immediate information about a motive or what the relationship between the three men was.
