Seattle Rocker Jailed

Seattle, Wash. -- A man named Phillip told KIRO 7, that he spotted a man pulling the hood ornament off his car Sunday night.
He said he recognized the man as Michael Christopher Starr and called police. Starr, the former guitarist for the Seattle grunge band "Alice in Chains" was arrested Sunday night for "investigation of property destruction and theft".Starr has been in legal trouble before in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake City. His past charges include DUI, reckless driving, and various drug charges.It was nearly three years ago that "Alice in Chains" that lead singer Layne Staley was found dead in his University District apartment from a drug overdose.
