Serial Rapist Apparently Strikes Again

A serial rapist believed responsible for four attacks in Pierce and southern King counties has apparently struck again, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

In an attack on Monday, a man entered a condo near Pearl Street in Tacoma, tied up two men and forced a woman to take off her clothes.

"I woke up and there was a gun in my face," the woman told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News. "He pulled me by my hair and dragged me out to the living room."

The woman was not raped because the men were able to free themselves and the attacker fled.

In other attacks since last summer in Tacoma, Fircrest, Des Moines and Federal Way, a man has entered homes, tied up people inside and raped victims.

Police said the cases are unusual because the attacker stays in the home for hours.

The rapist is described as a black male, light complexion, 20 to 40 years old, 6 feet tall, with a medium build. In every attack he wore black gloves and a ski mask, dark clothing, and had a gun.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call the King County Sheriff's Office at (206) 296-3311 or 911, or Crime Stoppers.
