Kent Police Search For Robbery Suspects In Jewelry Store Holdup

KENT, Wash. -- Three suspects entered Kent Jewelry and Loan on 624 W. Meeker in Kent Tuesday evening and told the sales person to get on the floor. The 40-year-old salesman dropped to his knees as one of the suspects put a gun to his head.The owner of the Jewelry store stepped from behind a display rack with his pistol and fired one shot at one of the suspects standing by the door.The three suspects fled the store. Nothing was stolen.Two of the suspects were described as black males, the third is of an unknown race. The three suspects appeared to be in their mid 20’s. Each suspect wore a mask.The three suspects were seen running south from the jewelry store and getting into a light gray or tan two door car similar to a newer Chevy Cavalier.One suspect was wearing a white padded puffy type jacket and a bright yellow ski mask with mouth and eye holes. The suspect standing by the door was wearing an orange puffy jacket and a white NBA hat with a silver “76” on the front.Kent police detectives are seeking help from the public in identifying these three dangerous suspects.
