Police Investigate Racing As Cause Of Fiery Crash

SEATTLE -- 18-year-old Sukhneet Sing Virk's bail was set at $100,000 Thursday afternoon for his alleged role in a fiery crash that killed his friend, a 16-year-old Bellevue High School student, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.
Video: Fiery Crash Kills Teen DriverPolice said the two young drivers were racing on Coal Creek Parkway Wednesday afternoon when a red BMW driven by the 16-year-old crossed the center line, sideswiped a Subaru, hit a Volkswagen Beetle and burst into flames.The 16-year-old died inside the car.Moments later, Virk returned to check on the 16-year-old. Police arrested him on suspicion of vehicular homicide.The drivers in the two other vehicles involved were not seriously hurt.
