Body Found In Burien Identified As Missing Woman

SEATTLE -- Police said the King County medical examiner has positively identified the body of a woman found in Burien on Monday afternoon as Nicole Pietz, 33.The King County Sheriff's Office said they are actively investigating the death as being suspicious, but no official cause of death has been released.Pietz was last seen leaving Lynnwood for a personal meeting in Renton on Jan. 28, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.A man walking through the woods in an area of Burien spotted the body about 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon. The crime scene is in an isolated area about a quarter mile from a major intersection.Investigators said it appears the body was dumped several days ago.Pietz's family created a website after her dissapearance to help find her, for more information visit www.findnici.com.
