KIRO-TV reported that detectives also interviewed relatives for hours.Nicole's friends gathered Wednesday night to remember her, grieve and to comfort each other."All I can think about is her and all the memories we had and what a great person she is, and it's shocking," said Hadley Moulton Mangouras, a friend. To Hadley and other friends, Nicole Pietz is Nicole Zurcher, their high school friend.Maiya Black Alward remembers Nicole this way: "She would walk into a room and light it up. She was an amazing girl.”Mangouras choked back tears, saying, “It hurt so much to see her again in this way, and to hear what happened to her.”Pietz was reported missing on Jan. 28 by her husband. Family and friends launched a search for the woman.A man walking through the woods in an area of Burien spotted her body about 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. The crime scene is in an isolated area about a quarter mile from a major intersection.Investigators are looking for her 2003 gray Volkswagen Jetta with the license plate 991 TEF.King County Sheriff Sgt. John Urquhart said anyone who finds the car should not touch it."There could be trace evidence in the car. There could be any kind of evidence in the car," Urquhart said.Mangouras hopes police arrest someone soon."Hopefully, they can get some answers. Whoever did this will pay,” she said.A memorial service for Pietz is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 12 at the Church of the Holy Cross Episcopal in Redmond.Pietz's family created a Web site after her disappearance to help find her. Friends and co-workers have since been adding to the Web site's message board.
