Tukwila Motorcycle Officer Injured In Mall Parking Lot

TUKWILA, Wash. -- A Tukwila police officer responding to car prowling report in the Southcenter Mall parking lot was injured when the suspect of the car prowl backed a black Volkswagen Jetta over the officer and his motorcycle.The suspect rolled over the motorcycle, dragged the officer and tore the bumper off the Jetta before speeding away.Police caught the suspect at the intersection of 51st and 164th Streets, where he rammed into another police car.The injured officer was taken to an area hospital and released with minor cuts and bruises.
