Names Of Shooting Victims Released

POSTED: 5:55 am PST March 28, 2006
UPDATED: 2:45 pm PST March 28, 2006

The King County medical examiner's office has formally released the names of all of the victims in Saturday's mass shooting at a party in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.

They are:

-- 26-year-old Jeremy Robert Martin
-- 15-year-old Suzanne Thorne
-- 32-year-old Jason Travers
-- 22-year-old Justin Schwartz
-- 14-year-old Melissa Lynn Moore
-- 21-year-old Christopher Williamson

After killing the six victims and wounding two others, the gunman, Aaron Kyle Huff, killed himself.

Huff had brought three guns, more than 300 rounds of ammunition, a baseball bat and a black machete, and told guests as he blazed away, "There's plenty for everyone."

Authorities gave a chilling description Monday of what they called the "homicidal mayhem" that Huff, 28, inflicted before he was confronted by a police officer and killed himself.

Police said most of the descriptions they received were that Huff was quiet and self-effacing before he suddenly returned to the home with guns and began shooting.

But there were some hints that Huff had a darker side. James Winn, 20, of Seattle, who says he used to hang out with Huff and his brother, said Huff was "quick to anger."
