SEATTLE -- About 450 people gathered Tuesday evening in Seattle to offer prayers at the scene of the weekend shooting in which six people were killed by a gunman who then killed himself. About 12 clergymen were on hand for the non-denominational service in front of the home where the massacre occurred, and several offered prayers for the community, the victims and even for the gunman. The half-hour service ended as the participants knelt on the ground to offer a prayer of cleansing for the scene that saw so much violence over the weekend. Police still have not established a motive for the gunman -- Aaron Kyle Huff -- but they have said it appears the spree was premeditated at the home where Huff and others had gathered after an all-night "rave" party. Earlier Tuesday, about 40 friends of the victims gathered at nearby Volunteer Park to mourn with the techno music and dancing familiar to the tight-knit Seattle rave community. The participants said they were tired, but came together so they wouldn't have to grieve alone.
