LAKEWOOD, Wash. -- Lakewood police said human remains were found in a field near Woodbrook Middle School in Lakewood on Tuesday afternoon.According to police, two 10-year-old boys found a skull and a portion of a spinal column in a blackberry bush while searching for snakes. The boys told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News, the skull they found "was the same size as our heads," possibly indicating the remains are that of a child.Neighbors in the area said they believe the remains found may be a missing 10-year-old Lakewood girl, Adre'Anna Jackson.According to her stepfather, Jackson was last seen walking to her school, Tillicum Elementary School, on Dec. 2, not knowing classes were canceled because of snow.Police and an FBI dive team searched for her in American Lake in early December, looking for her.Officials said it is too soon to identify the remains.
