Power Outages Affect Thousands

SEATTLE -- Crews worked to restore power to about 2,500 customers in Northeast Seattle on Monday morning.The outage, which began at about 2:30 a.m., extended from Northeast 75th Street in the north to Northeast 55th Street in the south.The Eastern boundary was 45th Avenue Northeast. The Western boundary was Eighth Avenue Northeast.Puget Sound Energy crews also are dealing with power outages in Bremerton, Poulsbo and Federal Way.There was no immediate word on what caused the outages.
