Three Fort Lewis soldiers are accused of smearing feces on 15 cars and a couple of garage doors over the weekend at a Tumwater apartment complex.

Early Sunday morning, police said, three soldiers spread their own fecal matter on cars in the Breckenridge Heights Apartments.

“They were intoxicated and they decided to have some fun, strange fun, yeah, it’s not something I say I consider as fun but it’s something they decided to do,” said Detective Jen Kolb.

A security guard called police.

The three men face misdemeanor charges of injury to property.

The apartment manager told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the men were visitors, not residents.

“I thought it was absolutely disgusting, The photos were pretty graphic and its not something I wish upon anybody,” said neighbor Scott Diamond.
