Seafair Fleet Week

The 2009 Seafair Fleet will include two U.S. Navy destroyers home-ported in Everett, a U.S. Coast Guard ship, and two Canadian vessels. The U.S. Navy ships, which are part of a carrier strike group, arrive on the Seattle waterfront at Terminal 30 on July 28 and will remain until August 3.

Proudly Serving and Protecting Seafair is proud to welcome the men and women of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, and Canadian Navy each year to Seattle's Elliott Bay waterfront. The public is encouraged to take part in Seafair Fleet Week presented by Boeing by riding in the parade of ships or touring the vessels during their stay.

Details on Fleet Week 2009, including which ships will be visiting, information and applications for the Seafair Ship rider program is available online at shipriders.com. Deadline for submission of applications is 5 p.m. on July 10. Note that rider's are chose randomly from all applications that are submitted by the due date.
