A business called Washington Tarp is located at the building where the fire is buring, Medic One crews said.

Kyle Ohashi with the department told KIRO 7 at about 5:45 p.m. that firefighters were cutting holes in the roof to ventilate the fire so they could enter the building. Other businesses surrounding the building had been evacuated.
