SEATAC, Wash. —

A motorcyclist was killed Monday when his bike collided with a taxi in SeaTac, the King County Sheriff's Office said.

The collision happened at South 160th Street and Pacific Highway South at about 3:30 p.m. Police said the motorcycle was headed eastbound on 160th at and had just crossed Pacific Highway when a westbound taxi turned left in front of the bike. Witnesses told police the bike had been traveling at a high rate of speed, and police said evidence at the scene supported that claim.

The cab driver appeared to be OK, but was upset about the collision, police said.
