EVERETT, Washington —
Everett police announced on Wednesday that a $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and filing of charges in the case of a man who was stabbed to death at an elementary school last month.
Donald Justin Barker, 37, was stabbed to death on the evening of December 27 at Madison Elementary School on Pecks Drive in Everett.
Callers told police that evening that they heard a man screaming for help. When police arrived, they found Barker in the west parking lot of the school, unconscious and without a pulse, police said. He appeared to have multiple stab wounds.
No suspects in the stabbing have been identified, nor has a motive been established.
Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and filing of charges. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
People with information are also urged to call Everett police at 425-257-8450.
