NORTH BEND, Wash. —

The Humane Society and Pasado's Safe Haven are offering a $12,000 reward to anyone who finds the person who shot and abandoned a dog.

The black- and rust-colored Rottweiler was found shot on a Forest Service road near North Bend on May 31.

The dog was wearing a pinch collar and was tied to a log.

Veterinarians had to euthanize the dog four days after he was found.

Before being shot, the dog was seen riding in the back of a dark-colored pickup.

Anyone with information is asked to call King County Animal Control at 206-296-3939.
