GRAHAM, Wash. —

Family and friends are grieving for a Graham teenager killed in a late-night car crash.

16-Year-Old Killed In Crash

Sixteen-year-old Sherry Tumlison died after the horrific collision on Highway 161.

Police say her car was hit when she pulled out in front of an oncoming Ford Explorer.

Tumlison died several hours later at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma.

The driver of sport utility vehicle, 50-year-old Karen Hopkins-St. Clair, escaped injury.

Washington State Patrol Trooper Steve Ostrander said there was no evidence that alcohol, other drugs or excessive speed was involved.
