AUBURN, Wash. —

A two-alarm fire destroyed an Auburn home early Sunday morning and left 19 residents displaced, according to the Valley Regional Fire Authority.

 

Crews were dispatched to a report of a fire at a house at 2427 Poplar Street Southeast.

 

When firefighters arrived, a two-story fourplex was engulfed in flames. The fire reached the first and second floors of the home and the attic. 

 

A second alarm was called and firefighters from Kent Regional Fire Authority, South King Fire and Rescue, Medic One and K.C.F.P.D. #44 responded to the scene.

 

Crews evacuated the home and contained the fire.

 

No injuries were reported.

 

The residents are currently being assisted by the Red Cross.

 

The fire is still being investigated by the South King County Fire investigation task force
