2-alarm fire breaks out in Monroe

MONROE, Wash. —

A two-alarm fire broke out in a garage Friday afternoon, according to the Monroe Fire Department.



The Monroe Police Department evacuated a 200-yard radius of 425 West Columbia Street.



Firefighters said that the garage had propane tanks inside.


According to the fire department, nobody was in the residence at the time of the fire.
