2 Black Bears Seen In Puyallup Are Caught

PUYALLUP, Wash. —

State wildlife agents have caught two of three black bears that have been visiting the Crystal Ridge subdivision of Puyallup.

One cub was caught Monday night, and the mother was in the trap Tuesday morning. Agents will set the trap again Tuesday night, trying to catch the other cub.

Wildlife officials have advised residents to leave the bears alone and store pet food and garbage cans indoors.

The subdivision borders on woods.
