PUYALLUP, Wash. —
Detectives investigating the slayings of two men seized bags of evidence from the home in Puyallup's South Hill neighborhood where the bodies were found on Monday.
KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Gary Horcher said the dozens of bags contained handguns, rifles, ammunition, a compound bow and bullet-proof vests.
Horcher said investigators believe the body armor belonged to one of the men killed in the house. He also said investigators seemed certain that whoever killed the men knew about the arsenal of weapons at the home.
Police were called to the home on 175th Street Court East after the man who owns the house checked on his son, who lives there, and saw two bodies through the window.
One of the victims was in his 20s; the other, in his 30s, authorities said. The causes of death weren't revealed, but detectives told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Kevin McCarty it was a case of homicidal violence.
Neighbors Bruce and Ingrid Osborne said they did not know the people who lived there. Other neighbors told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the people who lived there were great neighbors.
"We're just shocked completely about the fact that there (were) two -- two bodies found with all the other things around too," Bruce Osborne said.
The medical examiner is expected to reveal the identities of the men on Tuesday.
