Robbery detectives and SWAT officers arrested Jarvis R. Gibbs, 23, in Federal Way and Sheena R. Blackburn, 24, in Auburn Tuesday evening, police said.

Gibbs appeared in a Seattle courtroom Wednesday afternoon, where District Judge Elizabeth Stephenson ordered him held on $500,000 bail.

Stephenson said Gibbs has a criminal record in Louisiana that includes domestic violence assault and malicious mischief, and that Gibbs has been booked into the King County Jail seven times since 2005.

"The charges are trumped up against me," Gibbs told the judge. "I'm not that person. It's not me, man."

Blackburn appeared in court at the Kent Regional Justice Center, where her bail was set at $75,000.

The Seattle Times said police used stolen credit cards to track the men since Sept. 1.

The Times said that within a half hour of that first robbery on Lake City Way, someone charged more than $160 worth of purchases at a nearby convenience store. Police then used the video to identify the men.

Police said Gibbs and Blackburn are seen -- with two others -- in the surveillance photos released on Monday. Police are still searching for two other men, whose identities detectives know.

Gibbs and Blackburn are suspects in some of the 11 robberies tied to the case, police said.
