22-Year-Old Killed In Crash Into Tree In Bellingham



BELLINGHAM, Wash. —

One person was killed in a crash early Sunday in Bellingham.

Police said they were called to the 2100 block of 33rd Street after a car traveling north on 33rd struck a tree just south of Old Fairhaven Parkway at around 3:30 a.m.

Bellingham resident Aushmendra Nath, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene by Bellingham Fire Department paramedics.

Police said Nath appears to have been the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

Police said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
