3 Families Displaced In Tukwila Apartment Fire

TUKWILA, Wash. —

An early morning fire displaced three families from a Tukwila apartment complex.

A Tukwila Fire Deparment spokesman said that the fire broke out at about 6 a.m. Sunday at the Canyon Estate apartments in the 15100 block of 65th Avenue South.

At least one person was transported from the fire to Harborview medical center in Seattle, KIRO 7 reported.

Fire department officials have not yet determined the cause of the fire.

The American Red Cross is assisting those families displaced and an additional 30 other apartment residents.
