LAKEWOOD, Wash. —

Police are looking for three men who terrified customers and held guns to employees' heads during a brash takeover robbery.

Officers said the masked men entered the US Bank at 9310 Bridgeport Way at 9:25 a.m. Thursday, brandishing weapons.

Police said the men jumped over the counter, ordered customers and employees to the ground and threatened tellers as they demanded cash.

“These guys are jumping counters and yelling at people.  That terrorizes everyone in the bank. That’s kind of a high level of aggressiveness, anyway,” said Lieutenant Chris Lawler with Lakewood police.

Police said bank employees had guns held to their heads as the robbers ordered them to give up the money.

Investigators said the men were organized, stationing one member of the robbery team as a lookout to watch the door, but they didn't seem to have formal training in the use of weapons based on the way they held the guns as they moved through the bank.

Police noted that the clothing the three were wearing appeared to be baggy, possibly suggesting they were going to remove the clothes immediately after the hold-up to change their appearances.

Witnesses outside the bank said they saw the men hop into a car stashed behind a vacant grocery store.      A short while later,  a female driver in a white SUV with three male passengers was seen speeding away.

"We wish we had some more leads, but all we have is a white SUV driven by a white female, no plate," said Lawler.

No one was hurt.
