4 Teens Charged With Raping Girl Met Through MySpace

SEATTLE, Wash. —

Four teenagers have been charged with raping a teenage girl they met on the MySpace Web site, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Prosecutors said the boys met a 16-year-old Bellevue girl, got her drunk and then raped her in the back of a car.

Investigators used a search warrant to track the boys’ Internet messages and said they bragged online about the assault and said they would do it again.

On Thursday, Microsoft agreed to join a task force that will explore the safety of sites like MySpace and Facebook.
