520 Bridge Reopens After Construction Delays

SEATTLE —

State Route 520 has reopened after a weekend-long construction closure that extended into the Monday morning commute.

The westbound lanes reopened by 5:45 a.m. and the eastbound lanes reopened at about 6:40 a.m.

Crews closed SR 520 for the weekend to install a new culvert for fish. Crews also did some bridge work in Medina.

The work was scheduled to be finished by 5 a.m., in time for the Monday morning commute but crews were behind.
