SEATTLE —

Amanda Knox has hired an agent to help her pursue a book deal, Knox’s attorneys announced Monday.

Robert Barnett, a Washington, D.C.,-based attorney for Williams & Connolly has represented clients such as Pres. Barack Obama, former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton, and other notable figures such as Tim Russert, Barbara Streisand and Sarah Palin.

Knox’s attorneys said Barnett will assist Knox in fielding existing requests for a book deal as well as “other opportunities.”
