A convenience store at a Chevron gas station on Ballinger Way was hit for the sixth time on Sunday. Another Chevron on Ballinger Way was robbed Friday.

Police suspect the same man in both weekend robberies. In each case, the robber implied he had a gun, but never showed one.

Gun-Wielding Robber Grabs Customer

A worker at the first Chevron convenience store during an earlier robbery told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News a man came in waving a gun and grabbed a customer.

"[He] came in, gun pointed already and he grabbed my customer. Kept swearing and saying 'Give me your money. Lift the till,'" she said.

Police said they believe the 16 robberies are the work of several people.

"What we don't know is if they know each other, if they're just passing around these robbery locations or not, just don't know," said John Urquhart of the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Police call all of the suspects in these robberies very dangerous.

They describe the latest suspect as 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall, 140 to 160 pounds.

He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a bandana over his face.
