MARYSVILLE, Wash. —
Police have arrested a 28-year-old woman in the stabbing death of an 82-year-old man in the travel trailer where he lived in Marysville.
Police say information from an informant led to the arrest of the Marysville woman for investigation of murder, robbery and theft of vehicle.
Police Commander Robb Lamoureux say more arrests are expected as other people are suspected of being involved in killing Arthur Schroeder.
His body was found Jan. 25 by a relative. The residence had been ransacked and his pickup truck was taken and set on fire.
Schroeder was a registered sex offender who spent 18 years in prison for multiple counts of rapes in the 1980s.
