SNOQUALMIE, Wash. —

Firefighters in Snoqualmie said a fire that erupted at the train depot early Tuesday was deliberately set.

The King County Sheriff's office said the fire was set at about 2 a.m. and another two fires were set up and ignited in downtown Snoqualmie on the same night.

Debris piles were set up and ignited outside the hair salon and behind the Snoqualmie City Hall at the corner of King Street and Falls Avenue at about 4 a.m., police said.

Damage to the Snoqualmie Depot was limited to some charred siding and burnt wiring. The depot's exterior sprinkler system was activated by the fire and a quick response from the Snoqualmie Fire Department prevented more damage, police said.

The depot is open as scheduled.

The King County Sheriff's Office is offering a $10,000 award for information about the fires.

Anyone with information about any of the fires is asked to call 1-800-55ARSON.
