A Seattle attorney is "an extreme danger to the community" who attacked four massage parlor employees in five separate incidents over a two-month period, the King County Prosecutor's Office said in filing first-degree rape and other charges against him on Thursday.

Multiple victims identified Danford Grant, 47, according to charging documents prepared by the prosecutor's office.

Grant "engaged in a violent, attempted rape of a massage parlor employee in July," the documents allege.

"In mid-August, he broke down the door of a home and violently raped another massage therapist inside.  In late August, he raped a massage therapist in Bellevue at knifepoint. In mid-September, he raped a fourth victim at knifepoint at a massage parlor.  And in late September, he attacked the fourth victim again and raped forcibly raped her," the prosecutor's office wrote in the documents.

Meanwhile, the investigation into Grant is expanding as other massage parlor employees indicated there could be as many as six other victims.

And vice detectives told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News that they're looking into whether there may be more victims, although they said they don't know how far back the cases may stretch or how many women may be involved.

Grant is being held in the King County Jail pending $3 million bail.

The process to disbar Grant, an attorney at Bailey Grant Onsager, could begin only after a conviction, said KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Amy Clancy.  If he makes bail, he could be in a courtroom practicing law the next day.
