AUBURN, Wash —

There was a major collision overnight in Auburn.

It happened just after 11 p.m., at the intersection of Highways 167 and 18.

Police closed the southbound lanes of the Valley Freeway because one of the vehicles involved was a truck carrying hazardous materials.

They said two containers holding dangerous chemicals were damaged. It resulted in a reaction, which was contained to the inside of the truck.

It took several hours to clean it up and get the truck off the highway. Nobody was injured.
