Body Found In Redmond A Mystery

REDMOND, Wash. —

A body of a man was discovered by a meter reader Wednesday morning in Redmond, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Police told KIRO 7 the man's fully clothed body was found faced down at about 10:30 a.m. in a greenbelt area near some unoccupied buildings owned by Group Health.

Investigators said the man's body had been there for at least 24 hours.

"The only thing we can see right now because he's faced down is that there is blood on his head. We don't know how that blood got there. It could have been suicide, could have been homicide," said Jim Bove with Redmond police.

Police would only say the death is suspicious.

A large police presence remained at the scene at 156th Avenue Northeast and Bel-Red Road Wednesday night as forensic teams turned the man over and continued to gather evidence.

Police said dogs will be brought in to search for a blood trail.

Investigators said there are no missing persons reports that might help solve the mystery.
