SNOHOMISH, Wash. —

Home builders targeted by an arsonist are fighting fire with fire.

The builders don't want to become the next victims of a serial arsonist.

Overnight, they huddled by bonfires as they watched over new homes in Snohomish.

Wednesday, bottles of flammable liquid were found in three houses under construction at the Storm Lake development in Maltby.

Tuesday, two new homes were destroyed by fire near Snohomish.

Other home builders said they've installed hidden surveillance cameras around the houses they're building.

Meanwhile, the ATF is still trying to find out if the arson attempts are an organized political statement by an eco-terrorist group.
