Burien Teen Killed By Gunfire

Shots Fired Into Home's Basement

BURIEN, Wash. —

Sheriff's detectives say shots fired into the basement of a south King County home killed a teenage boy early Sunday morning.

Sheriff's spokesman John Urquhart says that the shooter apparently fled the scene after walking into the yard behind the home north of Burien and opening fire into the basement.

Deputies are looking for suspects and say it's unclear whether the victim knew the shooter.

The shooting happened at about 1 a.m. in the 1400 block of South 124th Street
