The car jumped a curb, cut through a fence and crashed through two walls at the home in South Tacoma on Thursday, police said. The car stopped only inches from where the woman was sitting at the time.

A bicyclist who was nearly hit by the car went into the house to help the woman.

"She was in the kitchen, stuck in the kitchen, and she was all shaken. I helped her get out the sliding door in the back," said the bicyclist, identified only as "Dustin."
