Justin Bieber announced to more than 28 million Twitter followers that a computer and camera were stolen during a sold-out concert Tuesday night at the Tacoma Dome.

The equipment, which belonged to 18-year-old Bieber and his tour manager, reportedly contained personal footage of the pop star.

"Sucks when u take personal footage and people dont respect your privacy," Bieber tweeted.

KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Kevin McCarty spoke with a few Tacoma residents on their thoughts of the thefts.

“He should be able to come down here and put on a show, you know, and people don’t do that,” said Liz Plummert.

Some people thought the thefts were embarrassing and bad for the city’s image.

“I think that kind of stuff is just not something that a lot of people like to hear,” said Elizabeth Baron.

KIRO 7 partner The News Tribune reported security officials at the Dome reviewed surveillance video but couldn’t find evidence of the items being taken.

Tacoma police said a theft report was not filed by Bieber or anyone from his management staff.

According to Tacoma police, they are still waiting for someone to file a police report, and without one, there isn’t much the department can do to help recover the stolen items.
