Convicted Sex Offender Released From Jail

LAKE STEVENS, Wash. —

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office was notified that Jeffery Henderson, a level 3 sex offender, was released Monday evening from the Pierce County Jail.

Henderson was released after charges of first-degree attempted kidnapping against him were dismissed.

According to official documents, Henderson was convicted in Snohomish County in 1986 of four counts of rape in the first degree with a deadly weapon.

A community meeting regarding Henderson's release will take place March 9 at the Lake Stevens High School cafeteria at 2908 113th Ave. NE in Lake Stevens.
